I finally listed my house on the market with a top professional real estate agent, Jay Spencer, last week. I listed on a Thursday which is, according to statistics, the day to list for a quick sale. Of course, today, the stock market dropped. It didn’t wipe out a year’s worth of gains here in the US, but it did overseas. Nonetheless, I am taking advantage of the New Moon in Leo to manifest the sale of my house and the purchase of another one. The vacant lots I already own are better suited for a commercial building. With luck, I can develop it in the future.

After learning Chief Architect’s Home Designer Pro and designing a courtyard house, I discovered that I can buy an existing home and build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) next to the house using the design I already created. But there is a lot more to learn.

My original goal was to have a house built with a structure in which I could have a FitMax Salt Water Pool

I was trying to find a property I can afford when I discovered this one! It’s in Spencer, Tennessee on 4.11 acres and it has an above ground 30′ round SALT water pool complete with a pool house with a half bath on it’s own septic system. The house is on city sewer.

One of the subscription databases one can use is AcreValue. I used my last free full report yesterday. If I want to upgrade it’s $29 a month. The free account let me generate a soil map which is really useful if you want to know if it’s worth paying for a soil perc (percolation) test to see if you can have a septic installed or not.

And if you are buying a house with acreage of any size over say an acre, you want to know if you can apply for CARBON CREDITS or if you can farm it! This property has $111 in carbon credits assigned.

I can’t hike well anymore so I selected EASY and it generated a map with eleven trails all within a short drive of where I want to live. All Trails links to the various park websites which in turn provide you with maps, photos, and videos.

As soon as my house is under contract, I’m going to drive across country and hopefully, this property will still be for sale. I want to be in a new home by Halloween and get my butt on hiking trails and into water and drive over to the Atlantic Ocean and down to Orange Beach, Alabama before Christmas!
