X, Formerly Twitter is reporting that Ma (Mother) Palanchok Bhagwati’s statue (idol if you insist on using that word) started sweating two days before the glacier broke off because, as others are reporting there was an earthquake in China which hit the area and cause the glacier to break, hit the river, and caused what the are saying was an INLAND TSUNAMI.
I cant’ stomach people making snide comments about a deity. The question of why if the statute started to sweat as a warning, didn’t she stop the disaster in the first place.
UGH. Because that’s not how Dukkha works.
The late Idries Shah wrote 75 books. Back in 1995, I bought everything the foundation was selling in one bulk order and proceeded to read every single work. The idea is that if you read all the sufi tales, over time, they seep into your soul and you receive what’s called a transmission. It didn’t work when Harry Leo Duran tried, but it worked for me.
My favorite tale is the one about a man who fell in a river and starts screaming for help. A branch goes by and he screams God Save Me. A log goes by and he screams again GOD SAVE ME. This goes on with one version saying a boat comes by and the boatman asks if the man needs help and he says, “NO God will save me!”.
He drowns. He goes to heaven and meets God and immediately asks “Why didn’t you save me?” God replies that he or she sent a branch, a log, and a boat.
The man feels shocked and that’s how the story ends.
The gods DO send warnings. We have to hear them or see them or sense them. That nudge or niggly piggly feeling that maybe you should go for that walk after an ice storm? That phone call you do NOT want to answer, but you do anyway and then you find out had you left the house to drive to town, you would have been either in the car wreck at the intersection or been caught in the traffic jam.
There are multiple first hand accounts of people whose cars didn’t start, who missed the bus, who felt sick on September 11, 2001 and never made it to the World Trade Center where they worked.
The Goddess gave a warning. From what’s on X, she’s warned the locals three times before disasters.

The evenings are scheduled for Aarati (rendering of bhajans or religious songs)”.

There are astrologers claiming they predicted the disaster but I can’t find an actual prediction with a date stamp from earlier in August.
However, I did find a warning for what’s coming for spots all over the planet.
