March 2021 Moonology Challenge

Here are some helpful links to “Watch More about it” videos, links to websites referenced by Yasmin this past week, and my own WOW moments.

I am typing this entry at 7:04 p.m., Pacific Time, on Friday, March 12, 2021 in Spring Creek, Nevada

Those of us you follow Yasmin Bolland received a notice that she was hosting a Moonology Challenge that would start at 11:11 a.m. London Time on Sunday, March 7, 2021.. Each day we were treated to a live video if you were in London or a replay if you were another time zone. PDFs of each “homework” assignment were posted along with a brief summary of the lesson for the day.

We all then could upload our own videos or photos or stories or rants or progress reports or artwork. Many of us met a lot of fascinating “classmates”.

I took copious notes and spent a lot of time (slow internet at times) tracking down names of people or teachers or books or mantras that Yasmin mentioned in passing. Here is what I found along with a lot more information about Mata Laxmi and Mata Kali and Sri Ganesha.

Yasmin spelled out Dr. Chaudhary’s name and recommended to those interested to go to iTunes. I dedicated a whole page just to Dr. Chaudhary’s work.

For more about bija mantras check out Bija Mantras- The Sounds of the Chakras: LAM VAM RAM YAM HAM OM

And read Yasmin’s blog entry about the mantra. Or you can listen to her chant the same mantra from her home page here!

For a fabulous “image” of Mata Kali check out Sony’s TV series available on YouTube (most all of the episodes were uploaded with Closed Captioning English Subtitles but not all) Vighnaharta Ganesh. This is the link to the episode I’m going to watch this evening. I suggest key-in “Vighnaharta Ganesh – Ep” and fill-in the episode you wish to watch. 759 episode summaries are now (AT LAST) on Wikipedia. Alas, many of the cast are not. There are some AMAZING villains in the series – asuras translated as demons. I have tried looking in the Indian newspapers that cover the series but I have only found a few. But I digress. This is my favorite of Mata Kali.
