Facebook can be a nightmare or a way to connect with long lost relatives and friends. It is also a great way to share information, assuming it’s information Facebook agrees can be shared.
WordPress should also be commended for having a comment option. And it was in a comment that I heard from a long lost friend who I last heard from back in 1999. And then thanks to Facebook Messenger, were able to share email addresses.
And it was in an email this morning that I read something that verified that I was NOT the only person alive who knew that Harry Leo Duran, aka the Notorious Doc, used black magick. “Magic is what stage magicians perform. With a K it’s sorcery.”
In my Tell All Book and Memoir Never Die with Your Pants Around Your Ankles: The Death of Vegas’s Notorious Doc I detail how in July 2021, Duran told me he had invoked the katchina in this work of art to attack me and my friend, Brian. In a post on July 6, 2021, I documented all the strange coincidences with kachinas and yei.
Harry did a lot more than tinker with silly stuff like trying to get a painting of an entity to attack someone. He had a cauldron with a human skull he had purchased from an anatomical supplier for medical research along with a femur and jaw bone which he used for spellwork. Recently, someone stole the box with the bones. I was horrified that someone would steal from me, but in a way, I feel relieved because I didn’t want to deal with trying to get rid of the skulls (Harry had two adults and an infant which he bought when he was a neurosurgery resident).
Other than causing me a lot of stress and sleepless nights and physical trauma from violent rage attacks, I didn’t think any of Harry’s spells ever worked.
Until I read this email. I’m only extracting the description of Harry.
“Hi Barbara, First of all, I am truly, deeply and sincerely sorry for everything you have gone through for 30+-40+ years. No one should have to endure a human demon such as that for that long. I think you are doing the right thing in writing, publishing and publicizing the book on Harry because I truly believe in the virtue of redemptive divine justice; and, you’re right, postmodernism has completely obscured and confused this stuff with contemporaries who are one and all to the last lost. BTW I really like the title for the book. Very catchy! I actually found out about Harry’s death by accident after a thought of him only passed my mind yesterday, and then I googled him to find out whether he was still alive. He did some unbelievably godawful, vindictive stuff to me online between 1999-2002 that took me years to clean up. I also believe he targeted me with black sorcery during that time, the lingering effects of which lasted until pretty much the date in early November 2021 when he died.
Note: WordPress froze and I lost several paragraphs. In trying to copy and paste, apparently there was a computer glitch and I had to start all over again. The Save Draft option had frozen. COINCIDENCE?
Okay, let’s try this yet again. What I detail in my memoir is how I used visualization in the hopes that someday I would receive the following phone call.
“Mrs. Duran?”
“Yes”
“I’m so sorry. I regret to inform you that your husband has passed away.”
I didn’t add any details. Occasionally, I’d insert “is dead” “has been killed” but I wanted to keep it very simple. You never want too much detail in such a request to God or to THE gods. The actual phone call I got was:
“Barbara, this is ….. from the Solana. Harry has just been placed on the ambulance.”
“IS HE DEAD?” I screamed!
“Uh, yes. Um, the coroner is going to be calling you soon. I’m so sorry.” There was maybe another sentence and we hung up.
The physical abuse was FINALLY over. BUT, alas, not the psychological nor spiritual abuse. Harry left behind a nightmare no one should ever endure and he haunted us for well over a year. All of which is detailed in the book which I will have published in 2024.
