DRAGONS!

I have always loved dragons. I wasn’t all too keen on the Eastern dragons though until recently. They didn’t seem “pretty”. I never collected dragons – I only own two, but I had a friend who asked me to watch every dragon movie ever made and he loved dragon sculptures. We loved dragon lore. Alas, he passed in September 2011 cause he would have been amazed at how I taught myself video editing in order to capture this series of clips from Love Between Fairy and Devil! (And to create a video version of my Tell All Book!)

Back in the day, I did use screen shots of the film, Dragonheart in my 1998 presentation as the lead speaker on Virtual Reality at Computers in Libraries. Every time a dragon was in a scifi story or movie, I leapt out of my seat for joy! I also love dinosaurs, so I guess it’s a passion for lizards; but not Reptilians – I understand they are pure evil. I’m not, however, as far gone as to pay $149 for a COURSE on dragons – unless I win big at the casinos – maybe then.

So, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you all to Esther Yu, an absolutely amazing actress who blew me away with the ending of Episode 9 when she watches the character, Shang Que, shoot up from the ground into the sky and return as a G I G A N T I C dragon!

I hope I made this look easy. It was very labor intensive. I had to read a lot of blogs and watch a lot of how to videos on how to create these. The next level up is to add narration within Camtasia and then add animation, etc. My YouTube Channel as of 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022 the day before the Full Moon in Aries (start of the new zodiac year), has 334 subscribers and 142,482 views! The monetization graph is inching along.

My biggest hinderance is slow upload and download speeds thanks to living in rural Nevada. That might improve when new providers install cable near me. Will I make money as a content creator? Who knows? On October 8, 2021, I had 1,741 views from the day I started in 2014! I had a grand total of 3 subscribers!

Keep in mind, also, the Notorious Doc was found dead on November 8, 2021. I’ve only had the peace of mind of not living under the threat of being killed for 11 months! And that might be because on October 27, 2020, I printed out this photo of the dragon the Notorious Doc smashed. It was a Very expensive Enchantica ceramic that I bought in a shop in Tennessee while driving from New Jersey to El Paso, Texas in OCTOBER 2000. I have wanted to replace it ever since.

Back in August 2020, Joshua P. Warren talked about how to create a minion! Yup. A MINION. I wanted my dragon back so I printed the photo above two months later and it’s been on my refrigerator for well over a year. It was in a back room, just in case the fiend from hell drove up here.

In searching anything else I had on dragons, I found I had dozens of photos from Facebook posts or blogs and several articles. I haven’t kept up with my friends on Facebook who believe they ARE dragons just cause I’ve been a bit busy. Sorry, I can’t share those pictures because of copyright. I guess I should say, I might not collect dragon figurines but I sure do have a lot of dragon pictures!

And so I end with Patrick Stewart narrating DRAGONS: A FANTASY MADE REAL! One of Mart’s and my favorite!

MAA BAGLAMUKHI – 8th of the 10 Mahadevas

Mata or Maa Baglamukhi (Bagalā (Sanskrit: बगलामुखी) is the eighth of the ten tantric goddesses in Sanatana dharma. I discovered her in August 2016 when we were still battling a court case against an incompetent lawyer, a shady realtor, and a man who had already been convicted of consumer fraud. The late Notorious Doc refused to cooperate with me and the lawsuit was dragging on and on with the defendant hurling filth at me during a mediation session. I was so upset, I called out for help, immersed myself in research and found Mata Baglamukhi!

I found an ebay listing for a solid gold yantra made by a Vedic priest which would be infused with my natal chart (date, time, place), infusing it with my name, and the siddhi mantras. I ordered it and a few others and put them on my mandir when they arrived. I then played the mantra I found on YouTube over and over for a good year. The defendant’s lawyer was working for free as a favor, our lawyer was worthless, but eventually it settled out of court and I got SOME of my money back.

What I did not awakened to was the mantra was working. It just didn’t appear to win the court case. I believe the goddess helped rid the neighborhood of very vicious and psychotic neighbors intervening with the Justice of the Peace who ordered restraining orders and with the District Attorney and Judge who brought charges and got both to plead guilty. In addition, I think the mantras to the Goddess convinced her to silence the Notorious Doc for good!

The “Maa Baglamukhi Temple is the most ancient Siddha Peeth located in Bankhandi close to both Jawalamukhi Devi and Chintpurni Devi Temple.” Their website appears to have mostly broken links.

There is a Facebook page with photos. When I saw the movie below, I recognized the temple from the website which for some reason has a lot of broken links.

Please note the statute looks similar to the Black Madonna in other parts of the world.

I wrote to the temple priests asking for an English translation for parts of the script to a movie they appear to have produced, but no one was proficient enough to reply. I had a few odd exchanges and got a blessing in very broken English but I never found out what was being said in the back story. The summoning of the goddess is easy enough to understand if you know read the story in the Puranas.

Parts are blurry but I extracted this clip. Alas, low budget versus Sony, however, you can get the gist. Here you see Lord Vishnu chanting in the hopes of evoking Mata to emerge.

Please don’t cringe. The temple did their best to make a movie with a low budget. If you grew up in the “old days” watching American tv shows before CGI and before anyone had a budget for special effects, you’ll remember the same stylized acting and low budget costumes. We were used to stage plays back then. The audience for this movie, was used to street performances of all the the epic tales from the Ramayana so this clip now in 2022 has that over acting feel to it, but it’s the story I want to you to see played out. Please don’t get lost. The next segments will be from the SONY high budget tv series. Trust me, when the asura is brought to justice, there’s nothing left to the imagination!

The TV series Vighnaharta Ganesh has a long story arc about the asura Trikura. Mata slays him in Episode 210 after all the gods have failed. The costumes, sets, CGI, acting, and even the script are outstanding. All of the work brings the story to life and imprints the teachings.

No expense was spared in the costumes, CGI, nor make-up. Each asura in the series is portrayed by an actor that pulls off the character so well, I, at least, forget I’m watching acting. A couple of the leads are flat but never Akanksha Puri who portrays all of Mata Parvati’s avatars. She left the show before it ended, unfortunately. And there was controversy on the set. Puri is a bit of a diva!

I will upload a VLOG using clips from this clip to YouTube later. It’s getting harder and harder to appease YouTube. Hopefully, this 3 minute clip will work here.

Most people have a cursory recognition of Sri Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Durga, or Mata Kali, but if you want a Goddess you can rip a demon’s tongue out, I highly recommend you read everything you can about Mata Bagalamukhi and the power of the SHAKTI that even the GODS do not possess.

Matsya and Kurma – Vishnu’s Aquatic First Two Avatars

Shiva’s first avatar, Piplad, was easy to describe. Lord Shiva incarnated into a human womb and appeared human. Lord Vishnu’s first avatar, in contrast was a TINY talking fish which very quickly grew into a gigantic talking fish which then helped save Manu. I am not sure if the series of “trailers” by U are Beyond are just concepts or if they will ever appear in theaters, but the CGI was quite impressive. The original version of this post had a link, but it appears that U are Beyond has been scrubbed, copyright violation most likely. So I am updating this by linking to Sanatan AI Films.

U and Beyond do not tell us the source of the CGI . All they say is it is a derivative work. Another video that tells the story as a devotional is

Kurma, on the other hand, has been gloriously “brought to virtual life” by the team at Vighnaharta Ganesh. The story of the Churning of the Ocean appears in three different texts. The one depicted in this series is from the Vishnu Purana.

A more famous version is found in Skanda VIII,, Chapters 5-8 of the Bhagavata Purana and Section XVIII in the Mahabharata.

Thanks to CGI and fabulous sets, acting, costumes, and directing, the story of how Lord Vishnu sent his avatar in the form of a gigantic tortoise to lift Mount Mandara (a spur of Mt. Meru also called Mt. Kailash) off the ocean floor saves several paragraphs of verbage.

In the film clip the gods are all wearing pearl necklaces. The one closest to Mt. Mandara is Lord Indra, King of the Gods. His story in Hindu literature is not unlike the Greek tales of gods with questionable characters. Indra will be discussed in a separate post. The actor, Meer Ali, seen here is incredible. His range of emotions portraying Indra in the series is amazing.

Behind him is Surya-dev, the Sun god portrayed by Viren Singh Rathore. You can also see Varuna-dev (WATER) and Vayu-dev (WIND) along with all of the gods in the Hindu pantheon. On the opposing side are the asuras – a race that is often translated as demonic because most, not all, are evil and hold ill intent towards gods and humans alike. This is a famous tug of war for amrita (Sanskrit: अमृत) the elixir of immortality.

Praveen Mohan is my FAVORITE researcher! I think he’s even more incredible than Robert Sepehr because Praveen actually travels to each location and does the in-depth experiments on site. Praveen’s film about Bayon temple is a must watch and is listed below. The entrance way to the temple has the best preserved sculptures of the churning of the ocean I’ve been able to find. This photo is from a site about temple architecture.

Please note that the YouTube algorithm violates Fair Use Copyright Law. This is an instructional blog about many topics. Each clip I use is less than 30 seconds and yet some uploads get flagged and others do not. I chose, therefore, to switch to Rumble until I can reduce clips to less than 15 seconds and see if that satisfies YouTube’s AI.

Avatars – The Series – Piplad – Shiva’s First Avatar

If you have been following my blog , you’ll see that several posts talk about avatars. My last post introduces you all to the argument I had with the late Notorious Doc about Lord Shiva (Mahadev). Harry had no clue that Shiva has 19 avatars. In a previous post I wrote that Sri Ganesha has many avatars. And in a post about the Naadi leaves, I talk about avatars. I launched this website and blog in March 2021, but I have didnot have a chance to create VLOGs until recently. Below you’ll see a link for the first of Lord Shiva’s avatars. I will be creating VLOGS for Lord Krishna’s (Vishnu), Mata Parvati, Sri Ganesha’s avatars plus VLOGS for each of the deities whose story arcs are illustrated in Vighnaharta Ganesh.

WHY? There are hundreds of devotional videos with images from stylized paintings, etc. They are all well done but they are stylized and static. The TV series Vighnaharta Ganesh requires series dedication to get through if you are not used to stylized acting, if you hate to read subtitles, or if you don’t have the time nor patience for any of it. It aired as IF it were a soap opera. It’s only available outside of India on YouTube and it’s riddled with ads that break the flow of the story and are inserted so you cannot fast forward without watching them.

HOWEVER, the CGI, acting, costumes, and intense research are worth the effort. IF you really, really, REALLY, want to learn about each deity, I highly recommend investing the time to watch the entire series. For me, this is a form of bhakti yoga. Plus, future posts about the multiverse will build upon the idea of avatars, ages, incarnations, karma, reincarnation, and the xianxia tales of nine tail foxes and plant spirits that are able to “cultivate” enough merit and qi to take human form – cue SUN WUKONG!

And with that introduction, I begin with Lord Shiva’s first avatar.

In order to curb Shani-dev’s (SATURN) anger over how his father, Surya-dev (THE SUN) rejected him and his mother, Lord Shiva took the form of an infant who would also be left motherless. It’s a very heartbreaking story arc. What is significant is how this story arc includes the following “characters” from Vedic and Western astrology:

youtube.com/watch?v=1Rdl3Wslnzs(opens in a new tab)

Shani-dev – Saturn – the star (pun intended) of this story arc

Surya-dev – The Sun – Shani-dev’s father

Ketu – Southern Node

Rahu – Northern Node

Chandra-dev – The MOON

Budha-dev  – Mercury (Sanskrit: बुध)

Shukra-dev – Venus

Mangala-dev – Mars

Bṛhaspati-dev – Jupiter

Each planet/celestial body/deity tries to stop Piplad from reaching Shani-dev but to no avail. After a fierce battle, each finally recognizes (“sees” “realizes”) that Piplad is none other than Lord Shiva, himself, and they bow down and worship him. Shani-dev then returns the weapon made from the sacred fig tree.

What is very significant about this story is the teaching about karma. When Saturn is in your chart, the negative effect will only last seven (7) and a half years. The malefic effect will not last a lifetime. Saturn can only trouble a person once every 30 years. Saturn in a natal chart cannot harm anyone during his or her childhood. The ill effect comes in three phases. Iron – very difficult, Cooper – moderately difficult, and gold which will be a peaceful period. Saturn can only rule over a person’s horoscope for a period of 18 years. During those 18 years, Saturn rewards people based on their deeds. If someone works with dedication and honesty, on a pre-decided solution, to rectify the misdeeds of his or her previous birth, Saturn will reduce the malefic effects on them.

Within the “myth” Saturn GAZES at you during periods of your life based on your natal chart. If you go back and read my post about Naadi leaves, you will see one of remedies given to Craig Hamilton Parker was to “feed the birds” – Shani-Dev’s vimana is a crow.

I, personally, found that honoring Shani-dev improved my life considerably!

Dear friends who are self-employed, run their own business, or want to support small businesses! Here’s an opportunity to see the variety in our extended circles. Post a link to your website or Facebook page below without a description – just the link, it speaks for itself. Anyone who follows me can see it and visit your site. ✨

If you’re of a mind to pay it forward, feel free to copy this text onto your own page and give others the chance to reach more people through your circle. Let’s INSPIRE, MOTIVATE, and SUPPORT one another. ❤️

Gratitude is an ESSENTIAL element in manifesting. All the great teachers throughout time and space have taught that we need to be grateful and SAY it out loud for everything. Getting up in the morning. Breathing – that was a BIG deal during the height of the fear that COVID was going to kill all of us. Walking – I couldn’t walk for several months so I practically sing when I find myself walking in the cul de sac. Eating good food – We don’t all have food and some people are lousy cooks. Kisses from a dog or a cat or a horse or a goat or a parrot or ooh la la – someone you love with all your heart.

So, if you know someone who has a website, share it with Susi. Share it with me. Share it with people who will learn something from it. Get a laugh from it. Or someone who will read it and it MIGHT change his or her whole life.
